Frequently Asked Questions
What parameters does ReefLog track?
ReefLog tracks the eight most important reef aquarium parameters: Calcium (Ca), Alkalinity (Alk/dKH), Magnesium (Mg), Phosphate (PO₄), Nitrate (NO₃), Salinity, pH, and Temperature. The Ca/Alk/Mg triad is displayed front and center because it matters most for coral health.
What do the red/yellow/green indicators mean?
Each parameter is compared against the standard safe range for reef aquariums. Green means your value is within the healthy range, yellow means it’s borderline (a warning), and red means it’s outside the safe range and your corals may be at risk.
Can I track multiple tanks?
Yes. You can add as many tanks as you want — display tank, frag tank, quarantine tank, etc. Each tank has its own independent parameter history, maintenance log, and coral inventory.
Does ReefLog work offline?
Yes, 100%. ReefLog stores all data locally on your device. It never connects to the internet and requires no account or subscription.
How do I delete a tank or record?
Swipe left on any tank, parameter entry, maintenance log, or coral in the list to reveal the Delete button.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Is my data backed up?
ReefLog data is included in your standard iPhone backup (iTunes/iCloud device backup). The app itself does not sync to iCloud independently — if you restore your iPhone from a backup, your ReefLog data will be restored too.
