How do I create a proof record?
Tap the camera button on the main screen. Capture a photo or video — the timestamp and GPS coordinates are embedded automatically. Your record is saved immediately.
Where are my records stored?
All records are stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud Photos enabled, they sync to your iCloud account. We never upload your records to our servers.
Can I use these records as legal evidence?
ProofTime creates accurate timestamps and GPS-tagged records, but legal admissibility varies by jurisdiction and case. Consult a legal professional if you need records for legal proceedings.
The timestamp looks wrong. What should I do?
The timestamp is pulled from your device clock. Make sure “Set Automatically” is enabled in Settings → General → Date & Time.
Can I export my records?
Yes — records are standard photos/videos in your photo library. You can share, export, or back them up through the Photos app.
I lost my records after reinstalling. Can I recover them?
If you had iCloud Photos enabled, your records should be in your iCloud Photos library. If not, records stored only in local storage are lost when the app is deleted — iCloud backup can prevent this.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request one.
