How do I log today’s eggs?
Open the App — the Today tab is right there. Tap the big + Egg button once per egg, use − to correct, or tap the pencil button to type the total directly. That’s the whole daily routine.
I forgot to log yesterday. Can I fix it?
Today’s count can be set any time before midnight. Miss a day and it simply stays at zero — your weekly and monthly totals still work. Multi-day back-editing is on our list for a future update.
What do the Trends charts show?
Daily egg bars with a 7-day moving average line, plus weekly, monthly and yearly totals, daily average, lay rate (eggs per hen) and your best day. The free version charts your last 30 days; Pro keeps every season.
What is “lay rate”?
Eggs collected divided by the number of hens in your flock. Six eggs from eight hens is a 75% lay rate — an easy way to spot molting, winter slowdowns, or a problem in the coop.
How does the Ledger work?
Record feed and supply purchases as expenses and egg sales as income. HenLog totals both, shows your net profit, and computes your true cost per dozen from everything you’ve spent and every egg you’ve collected. The Ledger is part of HenLog Pro.
What does HenLog Pro unlock?
Unlimited flocks and hens, the Ledger (accounting), CSV export, and full-history trends — as a one-time purchase. The free version includes one flock with up to 10 hens and every egg-counting feature.
How do I restore my purchase?
Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
How do I export my data?
Settings → Export Eggs (CSV) or Export Ledger (CSV) (Pro). Standard CSV files open in any spreadsheet.
Does it work offline?
Completely. There is no account, no sync and no server — the only network use is App Store purchases.
