Overview
HenLog (“the App”) is developed by Leilei Zhang. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and where it is stored.
Short version: HenLog is a local-first flock and egg tracker. Your flocks, hens, egg counts and ledger entries stay on your device. We do not operate a server for this App and we do not collect your data.
Data We Access
Local Storage
HenLog stores your records locally on your device. This can include the flocks and hens you add (names, breeds, join dates, notes), daily egg counts, and the expense and income entries you choose to record.
Photos
If you choose to add a photo to a hen’s profile, the App uses the system photo picker. The picker runs outside the App and only the single image you select is shared with HenLog; it is stored on your device with the rest of your data. HenLog never browses your photo library.
Purchases
The one-time “HenLog Pro” unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email, or contact information.
- We do not upload your flocks, egg counts, or ledger data to any server.
- We do not track your usage patterns or behavior.
- We do not use advertising networks or analytics SDKs.
- We do not require an account or login.
- We do not access your location, microphone, or contacts.
Data Storage
All HenLog records are stored on your device. Leilei Zhang has no access to the data you enter into the App. Deleting the App deletes your data with it; use CSV export first if you want a copy.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new “last updated” date.
