Overview
Dreamscope (“the App”) is developed by Leilei Zhang. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how it is used when you use Dreamscope to log and analyze your dreams.
Short version: We collect your dream entries and account information to provide cloud sync and AI analysis. Dream content is processed by an AI service to generate insights and artwork. We do not sell your data.
Data We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID (a unique identifier) and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address. You control what Apple shares during sign-in.
Dream Entries
When you log a dream, we store the title, description, mood, sleep quality rating, and any tags you add. This data is stored on our servers (Cloudflare D1) to enable cloud sync across your devices.
AI-Generated Content
When you submit a dream, the title and description are sent to an AI service (via OpenRouter) to generate a short analysis. For monthly insights, excerpts of up to 10 recent dreams (truncated to 150 characters each) are also sent. AI-generated image prompts and the resulting artwork URLs are stored alongside your dream entries.
Subscription Status
We store a subscription expiry timestamp to verify your Pro access. We never receive your payment information — billing is handled entirely by Apple.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or location data
- We do not use any analytics or tracking SDKs
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers

OpenRouter does not use API inputs to train AI models by default.
Data Retention
Your data is retained until you delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes all dreams, themes, and account information from our servers. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
How to Delete Your Account
Open the App → Profile tab → Delete Account. All data is deleted immediately from our servers.
Children’s Privacy
Dreamscope is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We will post any updates here with a revised “Last updated” date.
