Overview
ClayTrace (“the App”) is developed by Leilei Zhang. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and where it is stored.
Short version: ClayTrace is a local-first pottery studio log. Your pieces, glaze notes, firing records, exports, and attached photos stay on your device. We do not operate a server for this App and we do not collect your studio records.
Data We Access
Local Storage
ClayTrace stores your pottery records locally on your device. This can include piece titles, clay bodies, forms, sizes, weights, stages, glaze notes, firing information, outcomes, ratings, studio notes, and export files you create.
Photos You Choose
ClayTrace can access photos only when you choose to attach photos to a piece. The selected photos are stored locally as part of your studio record. We do not upload or review these photos.
Exported Files
The App can export JSON backups, CSV files, and PDF piece records through the iOS share sheet. You decide where those files are saved or shared.
