Are the parties and politicians real?

No. All parties, candidates and characters in Candidat 2027 are fictional, and any resemblance to real people or parties is unintentional. The game uses real rules of the French presidential election, such as the 500 sponsorships and the 5% reimbursement threshold, but it does not take a political side and does not use real politicians’ names or faces.

How does a campaign work?

You play a candidate from a small party for 19 weeks. You first need 500 sponsorships from elected officials, then you spend your time and money on rallies, TV, door-to-door visits, online campaigning and groundwork, in one of four lanes. If you reach the second round, two more weeks follow.

Can I change the language?

The game follows your iPhone’s language (French, otherwise Simplified Chinese). The language button on screen switches it at any time.

French and Simplified Chinese.

How do I turn off usage statistics or delete what you have about me?

Open Settings (the gear button) in the App. You can switch the usage-statistics toggle off at any time, and the delete button removes the statistics stored about your device from our server.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
